"I believe that friends who have lived in Taipei for many years will not be too unfamiliar with Core Pacific City, and will feel infinitely sorry for its demolition. However, The Core Pacific City is indeed full of many memories for me as a child, whether it is the ToyRUs upstairs, the Eslite Bookstore on the upper floor of the sphere, the cinema on the second floor of the basement, or the stage area on the bottom floor are all memories from my childhood to adolescence.

However, The Core Pacific City itself seemed to be cursed on the day the construction was completed. Not only did it lose money year after year, but in the end, a worker lost his life in the process of demolition. The Core Pacific City is just like an 18-year tragic movie.

My gratitude for the memories that I can’t go back, the recollection of the beautiful scenes in the past, and the sorrow I felt for its tragedy, have assembled this four-track little EP. In addition to the classic vapor sampling method, some crystal music elements are also mixed in and the mallsoft texture, which is representative of shopping mall vaporwave culture. I want to present a perfect mallsoft album belonging to Taiwan, and it would be more suitable to use The Core Pacific City as a representative."
